Attach one of our bore brushes in the standard 8/32 screw head.The CAT AR-15 Talon Tool is designed for rapid cleaning of the chamber locking lugs and lug recesses in AR type semi-auto rifles. It’s a lug pick that scrapes all eight lugs at once. Debris are trapped inside it’s recesses for immediate removal. The Talon was developed to rapidly remove carbon, sand, or brass shavings from the lug area, with the use of solvent, in the field. It also makes a good tool to use ahead of a chamber mop and solvent during regular cleaning.Need to see it in action?Clear the weapon and remove the bolt carrier and charging handle.Insert the opened Talon Tool in place of the bolt carrier.Rotate the Talon handle slowly, while inserting into the upper receiver.Using the fingers of the support hand, apply a slight amount of lateral pressure to the tool shaft.
