When turned on, the LEDs will fully illuminate the engraved message. 2. Battery Pack The battery pack for the lanyard sits at the bottom and uses a simple push button to turn on and off. You also press the button to change from steady on to blinking light effects. Uses 2 CR2032 Batteries pre-installed which can be replaced as needed. LED Color Options Sticker Options Frequently Asked Questions What does the lanyard look like when off? The lanyard is made of clear PVC material and it looks clear when turned off. You can see the laser engraved logo, but when you turn it on the entire lanyard and logo will illuminate. Can you add logos or images to the light up lanyard? Yes, we can laser engrave logos onto the clear PVC lanyard material. Since the designs are laser engraved (instead of screen printed) we can’t do incredibly detailed images, though many of our clients have incorporated their logos along with text. We provide free mock ups before you place the order so you can better see what your design will look like when the lanyard is off and turned on. How long do the batteries last? The lanyards use two watch batteries (CR2032) and can last for up to 60 hours of non-stop use. You can replace the batteries once they have depleted, or when you notice the lighting effect is no longer as bright as it once was. What type of events are these lighted lanyards used at? Anything you can imagine! Some clients has customized these for trade show giveaways, while others have used them to hold VIP badges at special events, or for participants to wear in night races. They are great for when you need to keep an eye on a large group, like school field trips or dances, cruise ship passengers or tour groups, college orientations & more. The engraving is still visible in normal light, but the full glowing effect shines best in dim or dark environments. Can I order a mix of LED colors in one order? Definitely!
