Can you see the design when the sign is off? Yes, you can see the laser engraved design when turned off. However, your design is etched onto clear acrylic material so it can be difficult to see depending on where it is placed in front of (i.e. the design will be more visible in front of a dark colored wall then a white wall). Does the sign need to be plugged into an outlet to work? No – it does not need to be plugged in all the time. If you use the battery compartment with 3 AA batteries your LED sign will work wirelessly. However, these come with a micro-USB cord so you could power it through plug/outlet, computer, or battery bank. The choice is yours Can you cut it to a unique shape? Yes we can!
