Talk about typos! I wanted you to know this book is a five star and hit the one by mistake so read on! This is a wonderful novel about relationships and love. The characters come alive as friends and lovers. It’s fun reading and the author had me thinking as their characters dug into their emotional development. Talk about gaining insight! I became invested in who these people are and I missed them soon after turning over the last page. I loved this book. Both the plot and the characters grabbed and kept my interest. The main guy, Dr. Alan, moves between the comfort of friends and into taking on the risks and rewards of dating in mid-life. The conflicts he struggles with remind me of some of my own. The action flows in a big city with a diverse Gay community. I think there is something for all readers; younger and older adults will relate to this story of a sort of “coming of age” after one relationship ends and a new one is yet to appear on the horizon. The people grow into more of who they want to be with the help of friends and lovers and an analylist too. More please!
